Favourite frame rate to shoot surfing::24 frames per second. When you are perfectly in sync with your subject, you get a nice sharp surfer (or at least parts of it) and motion blurred background. This project came out of my love from frames of 24fps video. The idea is a 24fps is a moment in time, exactly 1/24th of second in time (well have of it cause of the shutter angle, so 1/48th of a second really). And the sum of these frames makes for a larger moment in time (like in the image above: 6 frames at 24fps makes 0.25seconds in time. So I just want to document these frames, sometimes individually, and sometimes in groups of sequences or randomly,...Hope to get these printed, and exhibit at some point.
